Westchester and New Rochelle students will be glad to know schools are likely to close on Monday.

Lower areas of Connecticut and New York have been issued a blizzard warning, with between 12 and 18 inches accumulating across different locations between Sunday afternoon and Monday evening.

New Rochelle itself, as of 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning, is looking at 9-17 inches, with a forecast of 14 according to the National Weather Service, but that is subject to change—even an increase if the storm shifts west.
